Cricket Canada to host ODI Tri-Series against Namibia and Scotland later this Month!

Cricket Canada will be hosting an ODI Tri Series against Namibia and Scotland, starting at the end of August. It will run from August 27th to September 6th, with the fixtures as follows:

CWC League 2 Schedule

27th August - Canada vs Namibia

29th August - Namibia vs Scotland

31st August - Scotland vs Canada

2nd September - Canada vs Namibia

4th September - Namibia vs Scotland

6th September - Scotland vs Canada

Venue TBD

This will be the fourteenth round of the 2027 ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 Cycle, which is the qualification pathway tournament for nations to get into the 2027 Cricket World Cup, if you finish in the top four after 36 ODI’s have finished you will directly qualify for the 2027 Cricket World Cup.

This will be Cricket Canada’s aim as they continue to grow the sport in North America alongside the US. This could be the start of big things happening in Canadian Cricket!
