Liam Plunkett Hosts Free Cricket Camp in Surrey, Canada
Alongside LA Knight Riders player Corne Dry, Liam Plunkett will be running the second TD Young Wickets camp in Surrey, BC next Saturday, 16th August. It will involve the help of Team Canada athletes and local coaches of the Stallion Academy and will last three hours long. With the registration being free, kids of all ages will be encouraged to attend the camp to learn cricket with the help of season professionals.
The first edition of this camp was on July 15th in Toronto and went down as a resounding success. The clinic-goers will receive a free quick kit, this includes a cricket bat, wicket, set of bails, rubber cricket ball, water bottle, hat, t-shirt, snacks and a guide. The kids can expect to learn “batting and bowling, easy to play drills followed by a mock match to show off their skills in a game setting”.
If you have young children that want to get into cricket and you cannot attend, feel free to check out our rookie player course that can be completed anytime, anyplace!
